Forced to flee from high-tech mercenaries and ancient energy-parasites, Elara and Kaelen must navigate the "Between"—a ghostly dimension where shadows have teeth—and the gritty underground of the city’s outcasts.

As the Council closes in, Elara must choose: suppress her power and stay safe, or embrace the Palingenesis—a golden, ancestral form capable of toppling empires. To save the man she loves and the people she never knew she had, she must become the "Great Unmaker" and tear down the veil between the human and the wild.
